Tacton product and sales configurators will be touring Germany, with 10 dates in 9 cities, and Austria with 5 dates and 5 cities in October.  In Germany, they are partnering with SolidLine AG to show you how TactonWorks integrates with SolidWorks bringing you product configurators which create engineered products in SolidWorks 3D CAD

This pairing is interesting for companies in the engineer-to-order business.   It allows sales staff to create and offer buildable engineered products for customers without consulting the product development engineers.  Typically, this constellation of engineered products and rules based configurators results in dramatic efficiencies for companies of engineered-to-order products, and Tacton claims customers can improve their margins up to 80%.

On this roadshow, Tacton and SolidLine AG will be showing off:

  • the upcoming 4.3 release of TactonWorks
  • advanced control of drawing updates
  • design automation capabilities to customize systems and layouts of different products in the same assembly
  • SolidLine Partner Program featuring products and services that complement SolidWorks solutions
